Are you in trusted code or in a web page? It's not a trusted interface.

You can use it an an extension or if you turns security off for a testing session.

It is called from within an extension.
It works fine in Firefox 2, but the same code fails with Grand Paradiso
Alpha 8..

BTW. How does one turn off security? Are default settings diffferent betwen
2 and 3?

More details:

The call is made from an in-process C++ extension DLL which works fine for
Firefox 2.

The error arises when trying to get nsIAccessibleRetrieval from the
component. (There is no problem getting nsISupports for the component.)  The
error message means: "no such interface"
