:hover with RDF trees?

mixit
I've been trying to get "hover" to work with an RDF-generated tree
using both the suggested automatic property "hover" or the pseudo-
class ':hover':

treechildren::-moz-tree-row(hover){ background: #FF0000 !important; }
or
treechildren:hover ::-moz-tree-row{ background: #FF0000 !important; }

Neither seem to have any effect in FF 2.x

Has anybody been able to get this CSS working?
thanks
si

The first version will only work in Firefox 3.

ah - many thanks, Neil - its not clear from the mozdev dox that it's
only an FF3 feature.
