ff and tb build steps

Basanta Shrestha
Hi ,

I want to build firefox 1.5 and thunderbird 1.5.

I did following steps:
# cvs -d :pserver:[hidden email]:/cvsroot login
#cvs -d :pserver:[hidden email]:/cvsroot co -r FIREFOX_1_5_RELEASE
mozilla/client.mk
#cd mozilla
#make -f client.mk checkout MOZ_CO_PROJECT=browser,mail

it downloaded about 344 mb ..

created .mozconfig in the folder mozilla as below:

ac_add_options --enable-application=browser,mail
ac_add_options --enable-pango

#make -f client.mk build

should these steps suffice to build firefox 1.5 and thunderbird 1.5? Please suggest if there is
better way to do this.

Please use the correct newsgroup (mozilla.dev.builds); setting followup there.

This is incorrect. You can only build one application at a time. What you
need to do is use two separate objdirs (and mozconfigs), one for firefox and
one for thunderbird.

If you're trying to create a release build with features that roughly match
the released builds you should also use --enable-svg --enable-canvas

--BDS
