He changed his tune once he actually understood the genius of the
Electoral College.

The vast majority of Hillary's support - and ALL of her excess popular
votes - came from just 2 or 3 high population places - New York City,
and the large population cities in California.

The genius of the Electoral College prevents our country from being run
by a bunch of Socialists concentrated in a few high population areas
(cities/State(s)).

I guess you failed to notice that the Senate and Congress are elected by
the popular vote and what party has the majority in both.

Talking about being concentrated in a few high population areas.

If the electors are to prevent our country from being run by an unstable
and unqualified candidate. Why do the candidates only campaign in the
states that will win them the most electoral votes and ignore the rest
of the country,

To get rid of the electoral college would require 2/3 of the states to
pass.  Would never happen.

Night before election Hillary held a huge rally in Philly with media
stars and the President.  If she had gotten out all the big city votes
as had Obama she would have won.

Our founding fathers were very wise.

I wouldn't expect either candidate to campaign in (e.g.) Oklahoma.  It's
pretty much pure red.  Time is better spent in the "purple" states.

It wouldn't?

> The National Popular Vote bill would guarantee the Presidency to the candidate who receives the most popular votes in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.  Explanation  It has been enacted into law in 11 states with 165 electoral votes (CA, DC, HI, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, RI, VT, WA).  It will take effect when enacted by states with 105 more electoral votes.   Most recently, the bill was passed by a bipartisan 40–16 vote in the Republican-controlled Arizona House, 28–18 in Republican-controlled Oklahoma Senate, 57–4 in Republican-controlled New York Senate, and 37–21 in Democratic-controlled Oregon House.  It has passed one house in 12 additional states with 96 electoral votes (AR, AZ, CO, CT, DE, ME, MI, NC, NM, NV, OK, OR).

ALL of her margin of popular votes was in California, where illegal

California is likewise a given, just on the blue side.  We're doomed
here, but at least the bullet train will whisk us away to graves in farm
country where, after a suitable time to allow decomposition, we will be
dug up and used to enrich the soil.

Do you have any idea just how young most of those guys were?  Madison

That's the nice thing about buying stuff at yard sales!  Any tax
involved is purely theoretical since the sellers might be big-time
income-tax evaders.

I think it's cute that people think that sticking it to The Evil
Corporations is a good thing.

Yeah.  You  don't hear too much about the ones that were killed or died
in poverty.

A president must be at least 35 years old.  Given that the average life
expectancy when the constitution was written was mid 40s, this was
pretty old.  James Madison was 58 when he took office!

Yes.  Article II, Section 1, of the U.S. Constitution:

States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be
eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be
eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty
