We've got our meeting at the usual time & place on Tuesday, see
<http://wiki.mozilla.org/Thunderbird/StatusMeetings/2008-06-17> for details.

Please add any agenda items you'd like to discuss.

Is there an easy-to-read list somewhere of what features and bug fixes
will be in future versions?  I'm specifically looking to see if these
will (finally) be incorporated:

Very important - been asking for years----
Edit saved/received messages
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=254739
Using TB Header Tools Extension as temporary work-around

Less important - can usually handle with exntensions---
Quick file/jump folder from keyboard
Using Quickfile extension, but it's a bit buggy/limited

Easy change smtp server on the fly
Using SmtpSelect extension as a workaround. Works great - just
incorporate

Allow forwarded messages to be sent as attachment (as now) or as
inline
Using Forward extension for now

Thanks!

David

The way to tackle those kinds of questions is through bugzilla, by
checking the wanted-tb3 and blocking-tb3 flags.  In particular, you can
nominate bugs (by setting wanted-tb3?), and then the thunderbird drivers
will approve them (mark them as wanted-tb3+) or not.

Note that just because someting makes wanted-tb3+ or even blocking-tb3+
doesn't mean that we may not have to change our mind, for a variety of
reasons.  It does indicate the bugs that are likely to receive attention
(and in the case of wanted-tb3+ bugs with no owner, it indicates a great
opportunity for contributors to get patches approved!)
