This newsgroup may be merged with another

Gervase Markham
It has been suggested that the following newsgroups be closed and
discussion be merged into other groups.

Existing Group    Discussion Moves To
--------------    -------------------
tech.style     -> tech.css
tech.widget    -> platform
tech.xslt      -> tech.xml
tech.xpinstall -> platform

This is to try and avoid fragmenting communities; the groups to be
merged are considered as unnecessarily specialist or duplicative.

If you have comments (positive or negative) on this proposal, please
make them here:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=326990

It was decided on the above bug that mozilla.tech.xslt will not be
closed, but the rest of the above list will be carried out on
Wednesday, March 22.  You can insert "mozilla." in front of each of the
group names on both sides of the above list.

Those of you reading one of style, widget, or xpinstall via the mailing
list version will have your subscriptions automatically moved on
Wednesday (but you can feel free to sign up for the destination list
sooner if you want, it won't break anything, and you won't get
duplicated).

Archives of the existing traffic on these groups will continue to remain
on Google Groups indefinitely.

If you have any questions, please followup to mozilla.dev.mozilla-org
