Template Problem

dageekstud
I followed the install verbatim from "The Bugzilla Guide" on the
opencms site.  When I try to access the default page I get this:

Software error:

(Perhaps you need to 'use' the module which defines that package
first.)

I'm not exactly sure what the opencms site is, but here's a few
questions:

        (1) Have you looked at the most current documentation for your version
on http://www.bugzilla.org/docs/ ?

        (2) Did you get any errors running checksetup.pl?

        (3) What version of Bugzilla are you running?

I am running 2.8.1.  checksetup.pl ran great, no errors.  Only problem
I am having is Template Toolkit as far I understand.  Do I need to
download templates or are there stock templates that already are
installed?

The guide I followed is
http://www.opencms.org/bugzilla/docs/html/Bugzilla-Guide.html

Thanks

Re: Template Problem

if you'd like to see the error for yourself its located at
http://159.182.172.172
I can access static html files but anything that calls bugzilla cgi
stuff bombs with a "Internal Server Error"

I would think that checksetup.pl should have bombed out, but like I
said before it ran great.

This is my first experience with bugzilla.  Normally this wouldn't be
my job, but its no one's job here so I volunteered (dummy).

The templates are included in bugzilla.  I'm assuming you're talking about
2.18.1 not 2.8.1.  What error are you getting?

Check your web server's error log.  It should have a meaningful message.
"Internal Server Error" can be caused by hundreds of different things.

Does

perl -e 'use Template;'

work fine?
