Splitting bugzilla between 2 servers

gudiguda
Hi im planning to use bugzilla in my application but im renting 2 different servers, one being a VPS and another a web host that uses apache with php and mysql. Can i run bugzilla this way utilising the apache and mysql on the web host and perl on the VPS?

How would i set up bugzilla this way? If i were to run everything on the VPS it may not have enough ram and disk space to cope let alone the CPU power as well. If an error is found in my application i only want it to send strings to the server.

Thanks.
It seems my web host already has perl however i could host it locally as i am making a cache using a quad core intel atom at 3.2Ghz with 8GB of ram. Is the resource usage for bugzilla based on active bug submissions? How would you rate such a system for using bugzilla with a form and images?

I used to host high performance servers at home for both files and games until the electricity cost was too high so i only turn them on when needed, but a low powered could be kept on 24/7.
