Moving bugzilla database to another machine

julian-4
We have set up a pilot bugzilla linux box and have been using it for several
months.  Now we have set up the "real" one and need to, hopefully, move our
bugz database intact to the new box.  I have crept throught the archives and
via google and if there is a good/easy/preferred way to do this I missed it.
The pilot was so popular that it has considerable data on it.  Any
suggestions and/or directions appreciated

Once the new box was fully configured and functioning properly this worked for
me....

   on old box:
     mysqldump -u root -p --opt --all bugs > bugs.sql

sftp file to new box then:
     mv /var/lib/mysql/bugs /var/lib/mysql/bugs.050331
     mysqladmin -p create bugs
     mysql -p bugs < bugs.sql
     mysqladmin -p flush-privileges
     cd /var/www/bugzilla
     ./checksetup.pl
     ./collectstats.pl

I'm sure this or a reasonable variation should work for you.
