Migrating BugZilla

מרון טנוס
Hello,

We are using BugZilla Version 3.6.3 and we want to upgrade it to the latest
version.

I tried to back up the Database (750MB) and import it into a newer version
of Mysql but it failed.
Is there any better way to export the database so I could use it on a newer
version of BugZilla?

Thank you,

Maroun Tannous

The answer really depends on how you backed up your database and how you
imported it in the newer version...

The recommended way of doing this is to make a copy of your database and run
the checksetup.pl script from the version of Bugzilla you want to upgrade to.

Please be more specific about the problem by providing steps to
reproduce, version info, error messages, etc. Also see
