How to read logs

Bennett Price
Thunderbird 1.0.7 allows you to enable or clear logs (of message
filters, of junk mail) but how do you read the logs?

I've got a Enable check box and a Clear log button there but no button
labelled "Read Log"

 From the Mozilla / Thunderbird forum I've learned that you have to drag
down the bottom of the log windows.  It fooled me.

Please bottom post in these newsgroups

Um, who-ever said there was a button called read log
Please READ what I wrote!

Tools-->Message Filters  <Filter Log>

That means use the menu Tools and select Message Filters from it
Then select the button <Filter Log> on the window that comes up.
When you press the <Filter Log> it will show you the log so you can read
it (if you have enabled Filter logs in the first place of course)
