[Fwd: Bugzilla and IEEE Software special issue on software development tools]

Dave Miller
This might be something interesting to get involved in.  I know I'll
never have time to do it though.

Hi Dave,

As guest editors for the IEEE Software magazine (http://www.computer.org/software), we contact you regarding a potential contribution for a Special Issue on Software Development Tools:

We contact you specifically because of we believe in the quality and relevance of a submitted paper on bugzilla. However, we also emphasize that all submitted papers will undergo a peer-review process. For questions, just get back to me or one of the other 2 guest editors. If you know other people who might be interested ot contribute something (on bugzilla or other tools), please forward this CfP to them!

Best regards,

Simon

Call me cynical, but somehow, I suspect it will be an IBM/Rational
advocacy issue.  At a minimum, I doubt it would dare imply that OSS
tools make more sense for most companies  than those sold by the guest
editors' companies.
