I am a newbie in the Mozilla world. I got Firefox sources for Win32,
compiled them with cygwin, everything was OK. I got the exe working.
I tried to modify a few cpp files in the mozilla/content/base/src.
"Make". The problem : 25 minutes to wait. Mostly going into
subdirectories, doing nothing or nsinstalls, nearly no compile time (by
the way, a "make clean" is also very long)
I tried to limit that time by doing makes in the "content" and
"browser" directories but the .exe wasn't updated.
There must be something I'm missing. I guess there are many people
developping Firefox on Windows and they just can't wait 20 minutes
everytime they change a source file.

Unless you are doing a static build, the exe doesn't need to be
updated... what does need to be updated is the .dll. Try building in the
directory you changed plus layout/build.
