I'd like to see it, but the two times I've tried it the connection
attempt times out.

"Firefox 33 rc1 to rc2

13 Oct 2014

A important last change forced us to generate a build 2 of Firefox 33.
We took this opportunity to backout an OMTC-related regression and two
startup fixes on fennec."

Looks like crash bugs were introduced while trying to fix other crash
bugs.  That's gotta be fun for the devs.

Let us hope they have better luck with this weeks release, and no
chemspills are needed as with 32.0.x.

Since it is Canadian Thanksgiving, I will thank the Canadian devs that
worked today, and the American devs that worked on Columbus Day to bring
us the next version.

Shhhhh!  It's no longer politically correct to regard Columbus as
anything but evil.  I guess people forget that without him -- or other
Europeans -- we might still be living in tipis or hogans and sending
smoke signals.  And walking instead of riding horses.

The linux versions never seem to give the trouble that the windows
versions do.  I have cosmetic complaints, but everything has always worked.

I now believe that due to the [Black screen after latest update
[Windows] • mozillaZine
Forums](http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=2879933)
problem there will be a 33.0.1 coming soon.

Do people use Betas and not see this problem before release? Probably
related to a video card, but no testers have that card on their machine.

I roll my own about once a week but have had hardware acceleration
turned off forever.

Yep, related to video drivers.
