Converstion of makefile to moz.build

Pavan D
* I am new to Firefox development

I am trying to write a xpcom module/component.
I am using a sample code from https://wiki.mozilla.org/Education/Learning/XpcomComponents.  in mozilla central build.

In  that makefiles are used. When I try to build  it  is raising exceptions on some of the variable like " MODULE should not be used in Makefile and etc .....

It should be used only in moz.build"

Can anyone help me in writing moz.build files manually.(any documentation)

Any documentation on learning writing  xpcom components with moz.build files.

Hi Pavan, you can start here:

Also looking at other moz.build files in the tree should give you a good idea on how to do it. You can use tools like dxr or searchfox:
