Consolidating Firefox :: Build Config into Core :: Build Config Bug Components

Gregory Szorc-3
There currently exist "Build Config" bug components in both the Core and Firefox products. I think I understand the history of why there are multiple components. But in 2017, I question the value of having multiple components. The Firefox component is low traffic and the kinds of bugs it is tracking can and have been tracked in the Core :: Build Config component.

I'm proposing we move all bugs from the Firefox :: Build Config component to Core :: Build Config and then delete the Firefox :: Build Config component. If I don't hear any major concerns, I'll file a bug to have the work done.

I'm not against this, especially if Firefox :: Build Config is much lower traffic than Core.  We have a Firefox for Android :: Build and Test that is the equivalent, but I would say it's relatively high-traffic and tends to be Android-specific.  Are you happy keeping it separate?

Nick

I think continuing to have a separate component for Android development is fine because the Android world is much different from the non-Android world. The differences between the Build Config components are nuanced by comparison.
