Bloglines gone from SeaMonkey [2.0 and trunk]

Justin Wood (Callek)-2
Hello,

I just wanted to inform localizers that I just landed a patch to remove
Bloglines from the feed reader suggestions for BOTH SeaMonkey trunk and
SeaMonkey 2.0.x

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=603132#c3

This follows what Firefox has done, and is because Bloglines is
"closing" and will no longer be in service.

I don't anticipate myself patching all the localizations for this
change, as I am not up to speed on the differing rules as far as the
various l10n trees.

Should each SeaMonkey locale file a bug to review their changes in
region.properties for this, just like it is done with Firefox p12n?

BTW, MT users, please remember my other post in this newsgruop about
exporting region.properties.

TIA

Not needed, but please make sure you switch correctly, I probably will
take an extra look when going through the next round of sign-offs.

Hi,

For the French l10n we didn't use Bloglines but Netvibes.
With the removal of Bloglines in en-US, that makes three feed reader
suggestions instead of two.

Our dashboard has become orange instead of green for SeaMonkey, with two
strings marked as obsolete:
browser.contentHandlers.types.2.title
browser.contentHandlers.types.2.uri

I don't understand why, but the dashboard is green for Firefox although
we have the same discrepancy there.

Is there a way to make our dashboard green for SeaMonkey as well without
removing any feed reader?

No idea, I think we need some info from someone who does know more on
the dashboard stuff - Axel?

You'll need to tweak filter.py,
http://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/browser/locales/filter.py?mark=29-29

I see that most locales are still yellow on
https://l10n-stage-sj.mozilla.org/shipping/dashboard?tree=sea20x with
missing that change, please remember to update for this soon and request
sign-off for it!
