ARIA XHTML slider doesn't work with build 2007110205

Gregory J. Rosmaita
aloha!

i am emailing in reference to the example page located at:

http://www.mozilla.org/access/dhtml/pretty-slider.htm

as indicated in a previous message, entitled "Mozilla ARIA Example Test
Results (2007/10/10 build; JAWS 8.0.2173)" which is archived at:

http://tinyurl.com/yq86x8

the slider had limited functionality with the 10 october 2007 build
of FF3, but with the latest build: Minefield/3.0a9pre, 2007110205 it
does not work at all -- using JAWS 8.0.2173 i cannot get the introductory
text on the page read -- all i hear spoken is "0, 100%"

there is absolutely nothing i can do with the example, or, for that
matter, the example page...

gregory.

aloha, aaron!

since i posted i updated to

PS: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a9pre)
Gecko/2007110505 Minefield/3.0a9pre

when i leave virtual PC cursor mode, the UpArrow DownArrow
LeftArrow RightArrow and PageUp and PageDown causes different
areas of the screen to be read (for example, one line up and
one line down) but nothing to happens to the slider...  i can
read the contents of the page with the virtual PC cursor off,
but i cannot access the widget, and when i turn the virtual PC
cursor back on and route the cursor to the slider, simulated
mouse clicks do nothing except repeat the string "0, 100"

gregory.
